The Weather Continues . . . : At the Pearly Gates, Randall Kenan Was Welcomed into the Loving Arms of Tennessee Williams -- and When I REALIZED THAT (this morning), My Tear-Storm Finally Broke WIDE OPEN -- Cathartically:

Last night and even more so today, I discovered that THIS POSTING had jumped to the TOP of postings hit for the week, and was hit THREE TIMES MORE than anything else in the last 24 hours. And I thought WHY is everyone suddenly interested in Barack Obama's Homosexuality right now???

And then I discovered, it is the LAST THING POSTED on Randall Kenan's Facebook Page (and there are many more of my things posted if you scroll down from there), and people posting Condolences there -- or just stopping by -- have hit that last thing and gone to my blog. The second half has to do with Randall's last book:

3. Today, Gannett Publications' Wilmington Star News won't even let me open stories listed as FREE TO THE PUBLIC, effectively STEALING the $54.00 I spent six weeks ago for a year of unlimited access to their online materials.

I again salute Benjamin Schachtman and his Port City Daily, who have NEVER given me a problem -- and Ben's Buddy Kevin Maurer, as well!!

Perhaps the STRANGEST THING, is that after I was up twice last night for bladder calls, my final sleep included a LONG, VIVID DREAM, in which David Sedaris (from Raleigh -- and whom I'd corresponded with years ago, later including his sister Amy Sedaris), drove into my garage in Artist David Terry's beat-up old Toyota pick-up truck that David drove years ago while we DATED!!!
