While each candidate delivered some biting comments while taking a turn behind the dais at the Al Smith Dinner, "there were some very touching moments in private," Dolan said, describing one right after he asked both of them to pray with him.
"After the little prayer, Mr. Trump turned to Secretary Clinton and said, ‘You are one tough and talented woman,’” Dolan said. "He said, 'This has been a good experience, this whole campaign, as tough as it’s been.'"
Clinton then returned the compliment.
“She said to him, ‘Donald, whatever happens, we need to work together afterward,’” Dolan said.
The Archbishop of New York praised President Trump's leadership efforts to help the religious community amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Greetings in the Name of Christ Consciousness!!! Although I wanted to be a Jesuit Priest in 7th and 8th grades, where Father Drennen was a few years behind me, but I knew his brother Tommy (now his sister, and a Lesbian married to a woman -- go figure), best, and my parents were CLOSE FRIENDS of the Drennen parents -- we often partying together, my sister Jane close to Eileen Drennen, I now honor Jesus's Mission of Reform, but no longer worship him.

And while I'm at it, I had always thought Lawrence O'Donnell of MSNBC was a GOOD CATHOLIC -- only one wife so far, hangs out with a Monsignor which he often mentions, and his DESKS CHARITY for young girls in Africa CAN'T BE BEAT!!!
But he is the CLOSEST to President Biden who REMAINS in Thomas S. Kenan III's EXXON-MOBIL pockets -- as does Joe Manchin, Speaker Pelosi, and OTHER Democrats -- and virtually ALL REPUBLICANS (except Liz Cheney, NOW, and some others), and so I found THIS PIECE MOST INTERESTING!!!
Lawrence O’Donnell was on TV life support. Now, he’s MSNBC’s most critical anchor.
Among cable hosts, he has the best line into the White House, and it's paying off.

When his contract renewal was in doubt four years ago, Lawrence O’Donnell begged his viewers to help keep him on the air at MSNBC.
Now, as the left-leaning network’s prime-time lineup is at its most unstable point in a decade, the 70-year-old anchor has inadvertently become MSNBC’s most valuable star; or, at least, its most dependable one, owing to the rare, direct line he enjoys into the Biden White House.
O’Donnell is, unlike virtually anyone else in cable these days, riding high.
