NBC's Chuck Todd: Biden 'no longer seen as competent and effective'

Todd cited a new NBC poll in predicting Democrats were heading for a 'shellacking' in the midterm elections

"President Biden’s news conference on Wednesday was designed to kick off a second year reset of his presidency, recapture his political identity, if you will, but our new NBC News poll suggests Mr. Biden does need a reset because he's lost his identity a bit," Todd said, referring to Biden's heavily panned Wednesday press conference that lasted nearly two hours.

"He's no longer seen as competent and effective, no longer seen as a good commander-in-chief, or perhaps most damaging, as easy-going and likable. In fact, just 5% of adults say Mr. Biden has performed better than expected as president, one of the many lowest firsts and fewest in our poll," he added.

So Donald J. Quixote goes on his BFF Sean Hannity’s Fox News show on the anniversary of President Joe Biden’s first year in office—and goes tilting against windmills in a rant against wind power.

The news of the day was the letter from the House Jan. 6 committee to Princess Ivanka asking her to testify about her father’s actions or inaction surrounding the Jan. 6 insurrection. In the letter, the House select committee cited text exchanges after the Capitol attack between Hannity and then-White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

In the texts, Hannity recaps a few points of a communications plan for responding to the attacks: “No more stolen election talk” and “Yes, impeachment and the 25th amendment are real and many people will quit.” And in another exchange, Hannity advised McEnany that it was “key” to keep Trump away from certain people, writing “No more crazy people.”

Did Trump go after Hannity for suggesting that he stop talking about the Big Lie? Of course not. Instead, Trump had windmills on his mind as he assessed President Biden’s first year in office.

The army arrested the local plaza boss of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, on Thursday.

Carlos Pelayo Núñez, known as “Don Carlos,” is believed responsible for supplying weapons and vehicles in Puerto Vallarta and central Jalisco, taking orders directly from cartel leader Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as “El Mencho.”

The Defense Ministry (Sedena), assisted by the federal intelligence agency (CNI), tracked Don Carlos for some months. They detained him on a property in the affluent Vallarta Marina, nine kilometers northwest of the city center.

Anyway, Rob McKinney told me he was out DRIVING AT 3:00 AM -- ~~SATURDAY NIGHT~~ FRIDAY NIGHT (Saturday morning), on Independence Blvd. -- at the PEAK OF OUR ICE STORM -- when he hit a CURB (Rob called it a "medium"), and KILLED HIS CAR'S ENGINE by ripping up the undercarriage.

Rob claimed there was Oil or Gasoline all over the road, that he was DRUNK AS A SKUNK, had had a BLACK OUT so does NOT REMEMBER WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED, then RAN ALL THE WAY HOME to Spofford Circle (on ice, yeah right!!!), and woke up on his FLOOR IN HIS APARTMENT.

I know Rob WELL, from buying so much pot from him over the years, and while I've seen him TOO HIGH on Marijuana, as well as ADDERALL and METHAMPHETAMINE (and LSD), I have NEVER SEEN ROB DRUNK!!! -- not since the time he and "Aaron" Gallimore were rolling on the ground with a bottle of Jack Daniels -- and the CRACK WHORE "LEAH" -- in early 2018.

So, WHAT WAS A DRUG TRAFFICKER doing out in an ICE STORM??? He had a BIG SALE TO MAKE -- and he MADE IT and got too HIGH with the buyer, before driving home.

Rob told me he HAD TO ESCAPE before Police arrived to AVOID his being caught and given a DUI -- and having all of that DRUG CASH CONFISCATED!!!

And then, he woke me first thing in the morning -- TOTALLY DEHYDRATED and Rob REFUSES to drink water from his own apartment -- but has no problem ever asking ME for water from the SAME SOURCE, the tap -- which he AGAIN DID only an hour later. He FOUND HIS CAR had been towed to a lot in Castle Hayne, about eight or so miles away -- using his iPhone "find my phone" app -- that he said he LEFT IN THE CAR so he could find it later.

LAST I heard, he had enlisted his FATHER, another HUGE DRUG-TRAFFICKER, to help, and Rob SHOULD HAVE gotten his car out of hock and into the repair shop today -- with DADDY PAYING FOR IT AS USUAL. Rob said he expected it all to cost AT LEAST $900.00 -- but AT LEAST HE GOT NO DUI -- so can DRIVE IN ANY CONDITION all over town selling DRUGS!!!
