Celebratory Lobster Dinners Have Become ALL THE RAGE!!! / Jamie Lee Curtis Makes the Wilmington, North Carolina Port City Daily -- AGAIN!!!

 



Last night -- about 11:00 PM -- I made and ate my Lobster-Claw dinner with fresh-from-the-oven, crusty French bread, salad, and Frascati wine -- compliments of my brother, Mike:

    It was $125 for 2 2 pounders. BTW, the wood you gave us is keeping us nice and toasty.

In the fall of 1973, when I moved to Cape May, NJ to begin an Art Studio with my fellow Denison graduate Hilary Russell, her boyfriend, Chuck Pritchard, and I worked packing fish on Cold Spring commercial dock by the Lobster House. We got all the free fish we wanted -- especially flounder (called "flukes" because both of their eyes are on the same side and they swim horizontally), and sea trout -- but had to PAY in their retail market if we wanted lobster. Live whole lobsters sold between $2.00 and $3.00 per pound, but the lobsters broken in transport, sold at $1.00/pound for tails, and 50 cents/pound for the claws (which I prefer, anyway).

And in fall of 1977, when I took too months to drive out West and back -- including to Alaska -- I lived for two weeks in the rectory of the Episcopal Church on Kodiak Island with the rector and his family, hiking the island most days.

It was King Crab season, and when the boats came in, they sold whole King Crab at 50 cents per pound off the boats. We had crab for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!!

Yesterday, I bought a pound of frozen, cooked Lobster Claws for $15.00, and ate half of them last night, and will have the other half in a few minutes. And today, I went back to Lidl, and they now have Frascati on sale for $6.00/bottle through early January, so I bought another bottle of it!!!

Across the street from Lidl, is a Harris Teeter supermarket that always has live lobster for about $25.00/pound. So I guess Bob Jones didn't do too bad getting four pounds of live lobster delivered for $125.00 -- but I get two meals for $7.50 each for the lobster!!!


My Lobster was "Wild Caught" and I presume that was what Bob Jones paid for too.

STRANGE that I agree with not just City Councilman Charlie Rivenbark (who once with also Drug-Trafficking Mayor "Bill" Saffo, tried to LITERALLY KILL ME), and Councilman Kevin Spears, son of a GREAT Civil Rights Leader here, in my IRRITATION with the Homeless in Wilmington -- most of whom are DRUG ADDICTS, addicted to the Drugs the Christian Clergy/Churches and Politicians sell -- and then a Methodist Pastor from Burgaw, NC, Randy Evans, feeds them and the WHOLE CYCLE NEVER ENDS!!!

This article also refers to my personal friend Jamie Lee Curtis, who got involved with Randy Evans when she was filming here a year ago:


We are NOT DOING THIS RIGHT!!! Grants of MANY HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS from the City and County to the Good Shepherd Center that put up many Homeless in hotel rooms for MONTHS -- yet the ones I see panhandling tell me they HAVE free hotel rooms and Charities provide nearly every meal -- plus there's Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, and others, who give away free food, mostly to cook.

My homeless friends panhandle ONLY TO BUY DRUGS.

My Readers know that when Katrina Knight, Exec. Dir. of the Good Shepherd Center SUED ME IN COURT to shut up about the fact that her employees and clients have been and likely still ARE the biggest sellers of Heroin in Wilmington, the Judge laughed Katrina RIGHT OUT OF COURT!!!

We need EDUCATION and PROPER TREATMENT and to stop jailing people (or letting them back to sell and do drugs on the streets) -- something A.G. Josh Stein seems to understand.

    I met ALL THREE of them when I attended THIS EXACT SAME EVENT!!!        Anyone who reads the two chapters I referred to knows that a very drunk Maureen Stapleton ran up to the nervous Audrey Hepburn at our table and hollered, "What are YOU so nervous about -- you're the most elegant c*u*n*t in the place!!!" Meryl Streep is the still alive person we partied with the most, and I also met Lillian Gish, Douglas Fairbank, Jr., Ella Fitzgerald, and others at the 1981 Kennedy Center Honors. When I was 2.5 - 6 years old in Cincinnati, Roy Rogers' first cousin lived next door, and Roy and Dale Evans often visited, dressed in costume and entertained the kids in my neighborhood. Just a year ago, I met Jamie Lee Curtis in my fave shop here in Wilmington, NC -- and had a correspondence with her since then. I've met TONS OF LUMINARIES!!!

Frank Pavone is NO LONGER pushing lies about how Donald Trump actually WON THE ELECTION, and is having a Thanksgiving FIRE SALE on anti-abortion books!!!

Nathan Empsall wrote about two Roman Catholic Bishops who FALSELY CLAIM that the coming COVID-19 Vaccinations are made using STEM CELLS or other things that would make them "inappropriate" (a MORTAL SIN), for Catholics to take.

Bishop Joseph Brennan of Fresno, CA, has released a video telling Catholics to avoid vaccines made with stem cells, specifically mentioning Pfizer. Bishop Joseph Strickland, the notoriously right-wing bishop of Tyler, TX, likewise tweeted that Moderna's vaccine should be rejected because it's somehow "not morally produced."

Neither the Pfizer nor Moderna vaccines -- which are both 90% effective -- were made with stem cells. The National Catholic Bioethics Center, the anti-abortion Charlotte Lozier Institute, and even the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops support both vaccines.

That's right: Their own fellow bishops reject Brennan and Strickland's deadly, uninformed rhetoric. But two prominent leaders can still cause enormous damage, harming thousands of people by spreading disinformation and risking innocent lives in Jesus's name.


WHAT THE HELL is wrong with Pope Francis??? He CAN'T CONTROL HIS LYING BISHOPS!!!

Is Francis just a PUSSY???
