Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta resigned in July 2019 amid mounting criticism of his handling of a sex crime case involving Jeffrey Epstein over a decade ago. Acosta brokered a deal with Epstein's lawyers.
No one visited Epstein more than Story Cowles, who was reportedly his personal assistant.
Cowles visited Epstein nearly 130 times.
At times, Cowles signed in as a paralegal. His online profile says that he is currently an investment banker at Tobin & Co.
Dershowitz and Cowles did not return requests for comment while the other visitors could not be reached.

1. I rented a machine to clean the carpeting in my former roommate's bedroom -- and MORE DIRT CAME OUT than I would have guessed was there -- and I HOPE it dries completely within 24 hours!!!
2. I discovered he'd somehow burned a couple of HOLES in the soft-padding of the card table I'd allowed him to use -- and one of its legs is SPRUNG, so I will need to replace it.
3. He lost SEVERAL pieces of my flatware -- which I CANNOT BUY open stock -- so I'll charge him for a new set of equivalent flatware to serve four people (I gave up expecting to serve LARGE DINNER PARTIES when I moved back to Wilmington, NC from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in June 2015.
4. I FINALLY heard from Nurse Susan Boyd -- after a two-week silence from her -- and she is JUST TODAY looking into the things she told me back then she would look into.
Yes, but she just began working on things just TODAY!!! So I have her CLAIMS but NO RESULTS (yet).

5. Patrick Addington (who Allie Ryan in apartment 2 upstairs told TWICE about ten days ago to NEVER lay a hand on her EVER AGAIN -- and my former roommate and I both nearly ran upstairs to RESCUE HER, she was so loud and PANICKED), RETURNED TODAY in an over-sized pick-up truck and dropped off a plastic Kayak on Allie's front porch.
Allie's NEW BOYFRIEND is FAR more attractive and nice -- although I have not spoken that much with him.
6. Robert James McKinney in apartment 1 had to BREAK INTO his apartment this afternoon -- because he CLAIMED he locked himself out. But Rob ALWAYS leaves at least one window wide open -- WITHOUT SCREEN in place -- and USUALLY his back door open about six to eight inches -- when he drives away -- so I BET he's completely LOST HIS KEY!!!
Perhaps Rob should ask Mitch McConnell for a NEW ONE (or two), no???

Connor Betts and his ALLEGED sister, Megan Betts, just A FEW MONTHS AGO on Wilmington's Cape Fear Riverfront.
While media outlet and police have described Dayton mass shooter Conner Betts’ slain sibling as his sister, friends say the victim was a young transgender man who wasn’t out of the closet yet.
While reports have identified Betts’ sibling as Megan Betts, Splinter reports that his preferred name was Jordan Cofer. Cofer used he/him pronouns with friends, they say.
There is no indication that Cofer’s gender identity had any role in his death during a rampage that left nine people dead and 27 wounded. His friends say they don’t believe he was out to his brother.
Betts was shot and killed by police shortly after he began firing in a crowded area.
