This afternoon, I got THIS from "Sallie" -- NEVER, EVER trust a person who uses ALIASES !!!
Meg Burns is the "real" name and frequent byline, but it's even commoner and more anonymous than Sallie Parker, so I usually stick with Sallie for casual, non-remunerative purposes. Sallie has a Blogger site; Meg does not.
My mother was also born in 1923 (though she left us in 2017) and was likewise married in 1950.

Jennifer McCracken lived two doors down from my apartment on the top (6th), floor of Carolina Apartments in summer of 2015. She claimed to be a "Jack Mormon" -- because she drank alcohol, did drugs, and was a practicing Lesbian, whom I partied with in David Nash's and John Stike's Costello's Gay Piano Bar on Princess Street, back then.
Jenny was an EXCELLENT DRUG TRAFFICKER, selling me ONLY Marijuana, but having all other illegal drugs to sell as well. In fact, she claimed to be an "informal physician" -- for those who didn't want to see a doctor.
She claimed her MOTHER gave her her Drug-Trafficking Orders from her MOR(M)ON CHURCH, and that her brother was a TOP CIA AGENT running Addictive Drugs on Sheriff Ed McMahon's Detectives Force, and when Jenny got ANGRY WITH ME, she got her brother to make Google CLOSE my G-Mail accounts without warning -- or so she claimed.
Her HUGE CRUSH on Republican Judge Lindsey Leigh McKee/Luther (who divorced her criminal Sheriff's Detective husband, Evan Luther, as soon as she won a seat on the BENCH) -- but I'm NOT AWARE of Judge McKee, as she now styles herself -- taking a FEMALE or MALE LOVER since then!!!
She has NO RECOGNIZABLE BREASTS!!!
AND Lawyer Bruce A. Mason who TOTALLY SCREWED ME after Mayor "Bill" Saffo and City Councilman Charlie Rivenbark had a SPECTRUM TRUCK hit me in a crosswalk in front of City Hall to MURDER ME.
Bruce TOLD ME that he could NOT REP ME against SPECTRUM -- because my RICH KENAN RELATIVES told him NOT TO!!! Bruce was the TOP SUPPORTER of Judge Luther/McKee, and his MANSION that was used for Lindsey's CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS, had been most previously owned and occupied by Linda Lavin and Scott Bakunas.
MEANWHILE, Amanda Mason might as well have TEETH down there, and Bruce is totally pussy-whipped !!!

That's pretty funny, typos and all. Those were follow-up notes for a continuing series on American Girl. I've followed the American Girl saga since its beginning in 1986. As I was an illustrator, I was taken with the early AG books. First one I noticed was Meet Molly. Molly McIntire lived in suburban Chicagoland (I think), had a father who was a physician working in England, 1944. Real Americana here.
ReplyDeleteEnglish kiddy books generally had precise, detailed layouts and illustrations. Americans ones, not so much. Somehow American Girl lost its way after the first few years. Of course Mattel screwed with it terribly.
I realize you must be unfamiliar with the American Girl franchise, so I cut you slack. But it was and still is a very significant totem in our pop history.
