(CNN) Every year, on the first breath of summer, Pride collections emerge like a horde of brightly-colored locusts. They blanket every storefront and Instagram feed in June, promising solidarity and celebration for LGBTQ communities. "Yaas, Queen!" the shirts proclaim. "Love is love," the decorative buttons affirm. Then there are the rainbow-printed suits and shoes, which bear no actual words but are still so very, very loud.

In 1968, while we still lived in West Chester, Pennsylvania, my NIXON-LOVING, SWASTIKA-LOVING mother signed up to work for Bobby Kennedy's Campaign -- TO SPY ON THEM. But Dad was transferred that summer to Columbus, Ohio -- so that he and Mom could work with Coach Lou Holtz and his wife Beth -- to bring about the NAZI TAKEOVER of the USA.

BUT, while I worked for Tennessee Williams, late November 1981 - end of April 1982 -- I had met all of JFK's sisters, been to Pat Kennedy Lawford's Sutton Place Apartment, and got to know Jackie Kennedy Onassis BEST -- but NEVER met RFK or Teddy Kennedy. Pat and her sister, Jean Kennedy Smith, told me that Jackie NEVER let her children play with RFK's kids because they were SPOILED ROTTEN. RFK, Jr., even had a BABY ELEPHANT in his minor ZOO in their BASEMENT -- LOL!!!

Bipolar II is virtually impossible to identify and also no one cares. Just gotta accept your shortcomings and try to live your best life. There is no cure. The medication has side effects. Just do your best and try to surround yourself with understanding people. Expect no special treatment and you'll be alright.
