Comedian Jason Selvig recently confronted a Republican gunning for governor of Michigan over his campaign platform of “bringing God back into the culture.” Ralph Rebandt wants to make sure “pornography” is removed from schools and believes the Bible should be the primary textbook — two ideas that anyone who has read the Bible knows bump right up against each other.

Selvig pointed out one of the Bible’s more unseemly passages, in which daughters got their father drunk and had sex with him, telling Rebandt surely he must agree with banning such disgusting content. Unsurprisingly, the would-be governor couldn’t talk his way out of that corner.

This afternoon, I stopped by my neighborhood Food Lion, and as soon as I got inside, some peppy, young, black guy -- about 25 years of age -- started jumping up and down and WAVING TO ME!!!

I didn't recognize him, and looked around to see who he was trying to greet. But he came up to me, said, "You don't even RECOGNIZE ME, do you???"

I replied with my FAVE thing to say to black folks, due to some WHITE FOLKS saying similar about them, "I speak with a LOT of people, and SHORT people all look ALIKE to me."

It seems that a week ago, he had approached me outside that store and asked for nine dollars to buy some CONGESTION MEDS, so he could clear his congestion and FIND A JOB. THAT was unique, and I had no cash and don't normally give beggars anything, but while shopping got a ten-spot and gave it to him -- and THERE, TODAY, he looked so HEALTHY and HAPPY and looked GREAT in his new Food Lion uniform!!!

AND Microsoft (whom I still have not contacted to REPAIR my CIA-CORRUPTED Windows 11 computer, that is now on Windows 10, but STILL IS OUT OF COMMISSION FOR A MONTH), asked me to remind everyone of THIS STRANGE INTERACTION from 2010 with MONI BASU, then of CNN -- Moni had published the FAKE NEWS on CNN that the Atlanta Journal/Constitution had ALSO published on Christal Trivett-Presley's FAKE VETERANS CHARITY.
