I called Mom at 12:45 PM -- right after her normal lunch and before her afternoon nap -- and she had JUST AWAKENED!!! Mom said that although my brother Mike and sister-in-law Gail, and younger sister, Julie (the ONLY of us kids who still worships Jesus and Donald Trump's Politics), had all driven home (Pennsylvania), at the crack of dawn.
Although they had done all cooking, serving, and cleaning up, Mom was TOTALLY EMOTIONALLY EXHAUSTED -- because they had so much fun laughing about many memories of when we were all young.

No time for details now, but Daniel & Shannon are doing EVERYTHING the OPPOSITE of what A.A. and N.A. INSIST ON!!!
They have NOT BROKEN with all of their Drug and/or Alcohol-Addicted Friends. They KNEW each other well and slept together -- without ever before living together -- while using, and have NOT been sober a full YEAR, yet. They KNOW that those in recovery are FORBIDDEN to have sexual/romantic relationships until a full year sober -- and they talk on their phones seemingly incessantly with their FAMILIES -- all of whom appear to be DRUG or ALCOHOL ADDICTS (if adults)!!!
HOWEVER, I know SEVERAL "middle-managers" at my local Food Lion where Daniel has worked for MONTHS -- and they all LOVE HIM !!!
FUNNIEST, is that Daniel -- while in his twenties -- had risen to a MARKETING MANAGER in Food Lion's CORPORATE -- and had a huge house, wife (and children), and three cars in the driveway . But they hired him BACK as a simple HOURLY EMPLOYEE at a GOOD HOURLY RATE !!!
And STRANGEST, is that this all seems to be WORKING -- with lots of DRAMA -- because NO ONE tells LIES in my APARTMENT -- but it is a PERIOD OF ADJUSTMENT for all of us.
These guys came from such F*cked-Up Families, that Daniel is now wearing an OLD PAIR of my GLASSES -- he's even blinder than ME, and my glasses make it so he can READ product names and codes on the things themselves and the labels on the shelves -- for the FIRST TIME -- and so works even FASTER !!!
EVEN WHEN HE HAD MONEY , Daniel was TOO HIGH (or stupid), to get NEEDED GLASSES !!!
And BOTH of them have crumbling teeth from Meth and/or CRACK that need fixing, and she has a compromised stomach that holds little food -- and thinks she also has DIABETES!!!
After our HAM and POTATOES AU GRATIN dinner, we FIRST WATCHED (at their request), South Pacific -- followed by my buddy Del Shores' film featuring my now DECEASED BUDDY, Leslie Jordan:

Facebook REFUSED to allow me to FRIEND either Daniel or Shannon -- claiming I COULD NOT POSSIBLY KNOW THEM -- but this happens REGULARLY the last two months when I try to FRIEND ACTUAL FRIENDS!!!
Google's search engine USUALLY only gives results of MY BLOG (but all else, normally), that are at least nine-months old -- while Microsoft Edge -- BING , gives me FULL and DEEP RESULTS!!!
AOL Mail for over a YEAR, now, sends nearly all email to "TRASH", and a few things -- often in error -- to "SPAM" -- and ONLY VERY TOP POLITICIANS' EMAILS land in my INBOX -- LOL!!!
Daniel acknowleges that his FIRST SEXUAL ADVENTURES (several times), were with ANOTHER 14-YEAR-OLD MALE !!!

Among OTHER TREASURES, I found the original TAX FORM on which AMAZON reported the ROYALTIES THEY PAID for my MEMOIR in 2012 -- $511.92 .
ALSO, that the "employee" of The Good Shepherd Center here in Wilmington who SHOT my then roommate David Escalate's TWO CO-WORKERS in the FACE , and told David they would MURDER HIM if he EVER insisted they PAY HIM FOR HIS WORK, AGAIN, was named GABRIEL FUENTES -- and I have an ORIGINAL DOCUMENT in my possession to PROVE THIS.

And THEN I found a hand-written Letter (June 1973), from Jeffery Auld (Denison 1974), who OWED MONEY to Bert Bennett III -- and asked me for his mailing address so he could PAY HIM BACK!!!
Bert's FATHER, Bert Bennett, Jr., RAN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IN NORTH CAROLINA the second half of the Twentieth Century -- and is credited with gettng TWO DEM GOVERNORS ELECTED TWICE, EACH, getting JFK to win President in NC in 1960, and much more!!!
Bert, Jr., ALSO OWNED the LARGEST SHELL OIL DISTRIBUTORSHIP in the USA -- and KNEW that as I am a KENAN, my relatives CONTROLLED NAZI EXXON-MOBIL.
THIS IS WHY the HEADS of the New Hanover County Democratic Party and the NORTH CAROLINA DEMOCRATS IMMEDIATELY BLOCKED MY EMAILS of BLOG POSTINGS -- as soon as I ADDED THEM TO MY LISTS !!!
AND STRANGELY, Jeff Auld's Letter says that he had become aware that a WOMAN was trying to come out and take him OVER !!!
So, it is POSSIBLE that Jeff is now a WOMAN with a name I don't KNOW, so instead of dying of AIDS (as I had assumed), he's now possibly ALIVE!!!
Jeff STARTED this Letter with this quote from Tennessee Williams -- whom I would not even MEET until eight years later -- "Life isn't easy, it calls for Spartan Endurance".
THEN, when Tennessee and I travelled to Chicago (where Jeff Auld then lived, but we had NOT been in touch), we ran RIGHT INTO HIM in a GAY BAR and Tennessee PAID his good friend $100.00 to come home with him -- but the skittish boy kept running out of Tenn's bedroom -- and jumping NAKED into MY BED !!!
It is one of the FUNNIEST Chapters in my Memoir !!!
