OTHER ODD THINGS from today:

1. The Electronic Monitor for my Pacemaker had awakened me a month ago flashing ORANGE and beeping every 30 seconds. I unplugged it and FORGOT about it until this morning, and today, plugged it back in, it re-booted and is working NORMALLY!!!

2. Two days ago, I ordered refills for my heart meds from Publix Pharmacy -- the CHEAPEST place to buy them here -- about HALF the price of what Costco used to charge me -- and they were to be READY by 3:00 PM today. When I arrived to get them, they HAD NO ORDER to re-fill them -- their System had KICKED OUT my order because I have to wait two more weeks to order them -- but it had VERIFIED TO ME that I had a RIGHT to them and they would be READY!!!

On TOP of this, I'd discovered they had the LAST TIME DOUBLE-REFILLED my Metoprolol (Plavix), but only charged me for NORMAL -- and the EXTRA BOTTLE that I'd set aside had DISAPPEARED until three hours after I ordered. So I took ALL OF IT, including the register receipts for my last two purchases of the drugs -- showing the charges as IDENTICAL.

So, the Pharmacist said that in two weeks I have to RE-ORDER everything (their System KICKS OUT all early orders completely), except the Metoprolol -- that they would have ALREADY ADJUSTED their inventory to account for it -- so I get a three month supply for FREE!!!

3. So THEN I went to the you-pressure-spray-it-yourself car wash, and I had to stick my debit card in THREE TIMES for ten-minute washes -- the sign CLEARLY LABELLED "Ten Minutes for Five Dollars" -- but when I got HOME, my bank account had only been charged $6.00!!!

4. And THEN, I got this story from The Daily Kos  -- and I about BUST A VEIN or ARTERY !!!
