Well, despite 95 - 98 degree weather here in Wilmington, NC -- and humidity you can cut with a knife -- I wanted to enjoy a few hours downtown around midday, to see how my new drug Diltizem changed how I feel in heat-stress -- and discovered that NOTHING had changed, but it should have slowed down my heart when it races inappropriately.
As always, I spoke with dozens of people of ALL STRIPES (it's been a long time since I've tried to pick out "Liberals or Progressives" to speak with), and learned that the vast majority -- of locals -- had NO IDEA that Mayor Bill Saffo (actually, legally "Vassilios Avgerinos Saffo"), has a very SERIOUS CHALLENGER for the first time in at least ten years!!!

EVERYONE was thrilled -- and also that for the THREE City Council positions up for re-election, SEVEN PEOPLE (including all three incumbents), have registered to RUN!!!
I met three people who have known Devon Scott for years -- and all say he is AS GOOD AS HE CLAIMS!!!

At 6' 11", I never really had to worry about rape or being ANY kind of victim -- except of the hatred of Christians here in Wilmington who stole all my wealth including copyright to my memoir of working for Tennessee Williams when Scott Rudin and others were looking to buy movie rights.
My relative William Rand Kenan, Sr. led the Wilmington Insurrection of 1898 as an Elder of First Presbyterian -- and today First Prez STILL HARBORS the White Supremacist D.A. Ben David, and Judges Lindsey McKee/Luther (who attends White Supremacy meetings in Ireland yet gets re-elected by CHRISTIANS!!!), and Judge Jeffrey Noecker.
GOOD NEWS is that the Mayor Bill Saffo/Councilman Charley Rivenbark Drug Mafia has a REAL challenge in Devon Scott for Mayor and the three City Councilmembers have a total of SEVEN people vying for those seats. A REAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION this fall!!!
