At one time people conveniently "went mad" and were never heard from again. Like a character in a romantic novel. But now ... you are too hip to yourself on a psychological level. You all are too intimate with too many of the symptoms of insanity to be caught completely off your guard.

Fox News criticizes this study -- for legitimate reasons -- then quotes a 2016 Pew Study that allowed open answers, and THIS was the top reason there: "When Christians walk away from the faith, more often than not, it’s due to some form of intellectual skepticism. Ex-Christians often describe religious beliefs as innately blind or unreasonable."
Then Fox says Christians need to give "Bible evidence" of Jesus's Divinity -- the LAST thing on earth that THINKING people believe is ACTUAL EVIDENCE -- LOL!!!

My OWN story:
And this morning, I met Doug Campbell, an artist who lives around the corner from me, and stopped over to HARASS my next-door neighbor, Chad Wagner -- LOL!!!
"Yes, We Have No Bananas" by Doug Campbell, whose work is QUITE DIVERSE!!!

Yesterday, I stocked up on some canned beef stew and tuna fish (you can eat it cold out of the can if no power), and I'm stockpiling some water -- in case the hurricane, now expected to hit us in Wilmington RIGHT ON, actually materializes formidably.
Chad is re-sealing his trailer's roof next door in preparation, and the semi-feral cat I'd been feeding until looking quite PREGNANT -- she disappeared ten days ago -- reappeared, looking SVELTE, but NO swollen teats, so I have NO IDEA what happened. And she only got WATER, and passed the empty food bowl without asking for FOOD!!!
At least I DO have food to put out for the strays during the storm, if necessary.
And I'm not in the MOOD to blog much today.
Ray (or Rae) Bourbon (c.1892 – July 19, 1971) was the stage name of an American female impersonator and comic entertainer noted for his "outrageous" risqué monologues. He mainly performed in nightclubs, gaining a following in the 1930s and 1940s, and issued several LPs of material during the 1950s. He died while serving time in prison, after being convicted of being an accomplice to murder.
