It is NO SECRET that before their campaign to steal New Hanover Regional Medical Center from County-Citizen-Ownership, CIA Agent Kevin Maurer with the Cameron Family, their Live Oak Bank (and also their nCINO bank, who is also high-placed in the Presbyterian Church Leadership) -- look what I found when I googled for his email address:
Anyway, all of them PLUS the Wilmington Presbyterian USA congregations, especially First Presbyterian and St. Andrews/Covenant Presbyterian, FLOODED local press with stories of how NHRMC System was then ENTIRELY SOLVENT and it appeared to be financially prepared to remain so into the foreseeable future -- but then claimed that they were WRONG -- and that it would soon IMPLODE if not partnered with a major corporation -- the one they controlled, of course!!!
If you read (or skim) Ben's article and attached note, you will see that this is EXACTLY what Novant is now doing to explain away the GROWING number of complaints from patients and employees!!! They claim the claims were from far longer ago and that the solution is in the NEAR FUTURE --
JUST LIKE DONALD TRUMP CLAIMS ABOUT WHEN HIS TARIFF AND ICE/BORDER CONTROL SOLUTIONS WILL WORK!!!

Also, Ben mentions Live Oak Bank's "Channel" Director Chakema Clinton-Quintana leaving that in fall of 2025 -- but NOT that she was elected as a Democrat to Wilmington City Council, THEN!!!
Is she a Live Oak Bank PLANT in City Government???
To begin with, it is clear that Ben is personally far to the Left on Politics and Religion -- but can only make his political points mildly -- and his religious points NOT AT ALL!!! That, because TOO MANY WILMINGTONIANS believe they have the RIGHT to either Prosecute or to Persecute anyone who doesn't worship Jesus and Donald Trump.
Novant gave WHQR Public Media the huge grant they used to create the position of News Director which they immediately used to hire Ben away from his position of Executive Editor of Port City Daily -- and while he was still at PCD, Ben and I frequently exchanged ideas -- although he'd told me he had to cancel our initial meeting or he would be FIRED -- it was a WECT TV6 producer who first told me that all Press in the area agreed NOT to ever publish anything about me or my claims until someone ELSE of them does -- and they STILL HONOR THAT BARGAIN!!!
I have to stop blaming Ben for having so little courage -- he at least communicated with me a LOT -- even told me how TOP CIA Wilmington Agent Kevin Maurer was angry as HELL at me -- for blowing his CIA cover!!!
So, in the above-mentioned article, Ben mentions how James “Chip” Mahan, CEO of Live Oak Bank, was the LARGEST CONTRIBUTOR in NORTH CAROLINA to Trump's Inaugural. He also -- rather than disrespect the CEO of Novant, Carl S. Armato, refers to both Novant NHRMC System President Laurie Whalin and Novant Coastal Region President Ernie Bovio, who came to NHRMC in late 2023 after a series of leadership turnovers. And Novant's people -- much like Donald Trump -- distort the past and claim all will be well very soon -- because they were ALREADY WORKING on the solution -- which CLEARLY, they were not!!!
