President Donald Trump spent his Valentine’s Day morning lamenting the time he wasted getting to know self-described comedian Bill Maher.
In a lengthy Truth Social post, Trump described a dinner he had with Maher at the White House last year.
“Sometimes in life you waste time!” Trump posted. “T.V. Host Bill Maher asked to have dinner with me through one of his friends, also a friend of mine, and I agreed. He came into the famed Oval Office much different than I thought he would be. He was extremely nervous, had ZERO confidence in himself and, to soothe his nerves, immediately, within seconds, asked for a ‘Vodka Tonic.’ He said to me, ‘I’ve never felt like this before, I’m actually scared.’ In one respect, it was somewhat endearing!”
Following the dinner, Maher went on his HBO show to say that Trump was “gracious and measured.” Despite the initial spark, Trump said the flame between them soon burned out after Maher returned to criticizing Trump on his show. “Fortunately, his Television Ratings are so low that nobody will learn about his various Fake News statements about me,” Trump said. “He is no different than Kimmel, Fallon, or Colbert but, I must admit, slightly more talented!”
“In any event, it was a total waste of time for me to have this jerk at the White House,” Trump added. Breakups are never easy.

According to your schedule sheet, Gold Walker's rent check was mailed to her on Feb. 3 -- but she got it in yesterday's mail, Feb. 13 -- or 10 days later for half a mile in the same zip code!!! This at the same time someone told her I had posted on my blog that she's a Drug Trafficker and a Whore!!! Well, I never called her a whore or anything like it, but I had gotten over-excited -- about five years ago, not recently, and I found some postings claiming she is a drug trafficker, and I deleted them. I'd called her a drug trafficker since nearly everyone except me whom she rents to deals MANY drugs, including the addictive drugs. Well, she is happy now.
She DID tell good stories of having dated TWO of Bill Saffo's brothers -- many years ago!!!
She had called me a few times about THIS late check and we were waiting until after today's mail before I called you after the holiday Monday to get a new check, etc. But she called last night to say she got the check -- and we talked a long while. She and I have always gotten on well, and she used to drive me to the doctor's or dentist's years ago when I lived in one of her apartments on 4th Street and had to have a driver since I was going under anesthesia for an hour or so.
I'd like to be able to pick up her check from you and take it to her right after you cut them -- at least for a couple of months. Gold IS aware that Trump slowed down the mails again -- no doubt to hold back the mail-in ballots from Democratic areas. But it is ALSO POSSIBLE that that the CIA or other entity is screwing with me again.
If you recall, while I was in Mexico 2012 - 2015, one check you mailed to Bank of America then on 3rd Street for me never got there -- or came back as address unknown -- and you WALKED CHECKS to them after that for a while!!!
And while I was in NHC jail awaiting trial for five weeks in 2011, TWO letters I mailed to then-Pastor Ernie Thompson of First Presbyterian were PERFECTLY ADDRESSED but came back "address unknown" -- and I'm sure I saved them as evidence in case I ever need them in court. And once, while I lived in Carolina Apartments, Jennifer McCracken, who lived two doors down from my top-floor apartment had messed with my US Mail (put a hate note -- it was her handwriting -- in my US Mailbox which is illegal to use for ANYTHING except US Mail), and I took out a complaint and gave them the hate note at the Post Office downtown (zip code 28401), that they said they would investigate and get back to me. When they did NOT get back to me, I asked them and they told me they had NO RECORD of ever having spoken with me -- and of course did not have the evidence I'd given them!!!
At my eviction hearing from Carolina Apartments, 2015, owner George Cutter said he had never gotten the last rent check -- but no one had told me -- and they knew what I said was true -- or I would have immediately gotten a replacement from YOU!!!
It is Valentine's Day as I write this -- my sister Jane's birthday, and she and her dogs were here earlier this week for a visit.
AND, I've been meaning to tell you since I've been so DIRECT in my criticism of Christians -- not just TRUMP-Christians -- since Science proves no one can die and return -- and the New Testament is riddled with errors and contradictions about the resurrection, etc. I see Jesus as a Prophet, NOT to worship but whose advice on how to live it is good to follow (and there are other Prophets, some more recent, that didn't cause there to be 7,000 -- or whatever the total of different Christian sects).
But, now, FINALLY, I see MANY Christian Leaders are CONDEMNING TRUMP AND MAGA -- the first publicly doing so were Pope Francis, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and the Head of the Church of Scotland/Presbyterianism (all of whose offices were then sending received receipts for my blog postings).
Even Coach Lou Holtz, who with his wife Beth and my parents PLANNED the NAZI takeover of the USA by Christians of BOTH Political Parties by Pope John-Paul II's command -- Mom had at least TWO private audiences with Pope J-P II in Rome (he was put into hospice care just a week ago by his children, whom I also knew when they were in early grade school), RENEGGED his STRONG TRUMP SUPPORT over a year ago (and quit as a long-time Fox News Commentator), and said Pope Francis was NOT THE DEVIL as he had claimed for years, but Christ's man!!!
I told my mother that before she died -- and she just gave a grunt.
So, I am thrilled that REAL Christians have finally begun to stand up to Trump/MAGA!!!

Bridger's nurse never answered of called back the three times I called and left a message -- several days of waiting each time. Publix Pharmacy had told me that my Metoprolol had mistakenly been ordered for only a month's supply, while the other four I've also taken the same way for years, had refills ordered for a year in 90-day supplies.
One Pharmacist agreed when I told him I could not get a hold of Bridger's nurse, to ask them to correct it from Publix's end, but a couple of days later, a different one there checked and said they'd sent it, but no response and fore that type thing, I would have do get them to do it myself, so then I tried going through the extension for "refills", instead of for Bridger's nurse, which I'd always done before, and April called me back, was very nice and professional, and said that they COULD NOT change their error, and I doubt I'll have a new doctor to order a prescription before I need to see one for my next semi-annual check-up -- about July 1!!!
I assume that's all Medicare will pay for, but maybe I just worry too much -- I have to research that.
