We're so excited to have Ben Schachtman joining WHQR as Managing Editor on October 15th. Welcome, Ben!


We are pleased to announce that Ben Schachtman, currently the Managing Editor of Port City Daily, will move into the newly created (means Novant just gave them the money to pay Ben's salary!!!), position of Managing Editor at WHQR, on October 15th, 2020. 

Schachtman has been a guest on several occasions on WHQR's CoastLine, hosted by Rachel Lewis Hilburn. Of his new position, Schachtman says, “I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with the WHQR team in the past and I’m looking forward to joining the newsroom as Managing Editor. Public media has never been more important, so I’m honored and excited to help lead this next chapter for WHQR.”

I have been so busy lately fighting all manner of corruptions to my Blog and my Facebook, but even the Wilmington Star News has UN-blocked their reporters after nearly a week -- and even Executive Editor Pam Sander (a day later than the rest of them) -- from receiving my emails as of last night!!!

I had been meaning to thank you for your in-depth articles -- by both you and staff -- on local Government apparent CORRUPTION -- especially regarding the New Hanover Regional Medical Center sale to Novant -- but now I see that there are TWO WHQR sponsors listed on their page, and ONE of those is NOVANT!!!


I hope they are paying you a LOT OF MONEY to buy you off!!! 


But I DOUBT you will get as rich as Kevin Maurer, when he not only lied and spied on me for the CIA in summer of 2012, but published his No Easy Day and while Matt Bissonnette had to forfeit his $6,800,000.00 from that book to the US Government, Kevin KEPT HIS SHARE for being a GOOD Christian CIA Agent!!!

I guess you and I are TOTAL ENEMIES from now on!!!
