Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said her country will sue Google if it continues to label the entire body of water of Mexico’s eastern coast the “Gulf of America.”

Sheinbaum made the announcement Monday, weeks after President Donald Trump signed a controversial executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico the “Gulf of America.” Google changed its maps to label the body of water the “Gulf of America” for U.S. users while maintaining the “Gulf of Mexico” label for Mexican users.

But Sheinbaum said that is not enough. She claimed that Trump’s order “only changed the name within his own continental shelf, which extends 22 nautical miles from the US coast—not the entire Gulf,” according to CNN. She now wants the Gulf of America label to be applied to only the marine area under U.S. jurisdiction for U.S. users.

“What Google is doing here is changing the name of the continental shelf of Mexico and Cuba, which has nothing to do with Trump’s decree, which applied only to the U.S. continental shelf ,” Sheinbaum said during a press conference. “We do not agree with this, and the Foreign Minister has sent a new letter addressing the issue.”

I laughed and wept, @adamsandler and watched in awe at the @nbcsnl 50 celebrations. Fuck these people are funny. I hosted twice. Sketch comedy is not my Will forte, but I was game and I got to introduce James Brown. As you know for 50 years, a lot of life on life's terms has occurred and the second time I hosted was a particularly devestating week because it was the week that John Lennon was killed in New York City and the world and city and offices were so sad and the idea of trying to create comedy that week was seemingly impossible and at the end of the show I invited people to join at Strawberry Fields the next day and mourn together.

What an amazing accomplishment for the whole team at the show and the myriad casts and characters and hosts and musical guests and their fantastic crew, many who have been there for a long, long time.

WELL DONE ALL!

1. How, why, and when did you come to Wilmington -- when your Law Office remains in New York City???

2. I see participants to a Democratic Party Meeting are asked to bring CANNED GOODS for "The Good Shepherd Center" -- which is where Director Katrina Knight not only posted a huge notice in 2011 with my photo (from Facebook), saying, "WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE: Scott Kenan" -- and also listing my address.

3. Everyone in town knows that Katrina Knight has NOT ALLOWED Independent Auditors to audit the Good Shepherd's Books -- at least not since she arrived there late in the aughts.

4. Katrina's Employees in a Good-Shephard-logoed van HACKED my wifi and computer while parked on S. 8th Street outside my apartment in 2011, and they employed my undocumented roommate . . . well, here is what I published:

May I suggest that because in 2011, the Good Shepherd Center (which had banned me from staying or eating there when I was homeless), had posted a poster in their main room alerting the Drug Addicts there, "Scott Kenan: Wanted Dead or Alive", hacked my computer from their logo-ed van parked in front of my S. 8th Street apartment, and employed my Ecuadorian roommate, David Escalante, but REFUSED to pay him and two other buddies. When they insisted after several weeks of unpaid work, the Good Shepherd employees SHOT the other two in the face and told David they would kill him too if he ever asked for his pay again.

David immediately fled for Charlotte and was never heard of again -- but I STILL have his New Hanover County Record of Immunizations!!!

My notes of that time with identifying info on the "Shepherd Employees" who drove their van and picked David up for work!!!
