Well, Sister Mary Isaac Koenig of St. Mary's Basilica is having NO PART of my threats to FAKE CHRISTIANS, yesterday, and weaving words of her Church and Faith in ways that motivate HER and her supporters, ends up asking for inflatable mattresses for all those living in the woods, which INCLUDES people I have previously tried to get to move in with me!!!
Pentecost - Tileston Outreach
The fifty days of waiting are over. Jesus, reminding us that He will always be with us, sends His Spirit to us. In our Readings we remember how tongues of fire appeared over the heads of the Disciples. That fire continues to kindle our hearts, our spirits, to bring the Good News of Jesus to all we meet.

If you came through the main entrance of church today you might recall seeing signs and a few balloons reminding us of our Church's birthday. To me it seems to be even more special because of our being reminded quite frequently that we are called this year to celebrate the mercy of our God. So we have been hearing about the Corporal and Spiritual Works of mercy and it is the Spirit that will help us live them.
Of course, Tileston Outreach, is just one of the many groups here in our Parish that will help us channel our spirit of service towards others. Just outside the Offices for our Community we have flyers of some of the various ministries here at the Basilica. There are also many opportunities beyond the walls of our Church where we can "breathe" the Spirit of God upon our brothers and sisters. The message of this Feast is that we are called to service. And don't forget prayer which is the rock upon which we build all our action.
Last Sunday we were blessed to listen to beautiful music provided by Lorraine Westermark's violin students. The Spirit is certainly alive and well in each one of these young people. The funds they donated to us here at the Outreach will be shared with the children of Honduras, purchasing shoes for them so they might be healthy and safe from infection and they will be able to buy dozens and dozens of shoes.
Today we will also pray the Sequence, an Ancient prayer that our Ancestors in the faith prayed since the early middle ages. Let us ask the Spirit to indeed warm our hearts and so work within us that we will always make an effort to help those in need.
Special Need of the Week: Any inflatable mattresses not being used will be a great help to our folks. The housing situation is not that great and there are a good number of men and women living in the woods who would really appreciate having something to sleep on.

I feel sorry for the FOOD VENDORS, who may have already purchased PERISHABLES!!!
>>> OTHERWISE:
I met with my primary-care physician, yesterday, and we talked everything out, I becoming convinced I SHOULD have the Stress Test, now scheduled for next week. And the doctor will contact Benefits Management to discuss with them my suitability to be legally given back my "financial adulthood".
But I completely FORGOT about the two new meds my cardiologist has prescribed, which got lost in my telling his "tech" who called, that I wanted to WAIT to decide about the Stress Test. And THAT will require I NOT ingest nicotine in any way for 24 hours previous to it.
I told her to GET OUT the Industrial-Strength DUCT TAPE to strap across my MOUTH!!!
This will be like the five times I was held in Sheriff McMahon's JAIL in 2011 - 12, and those poor Sheriff's Deputies entrusted with my care, then, will tell you I got QUITE MOUTHY -- due to nicotine withdrawal, and I was even put in "Solitary Confinement" for three days, and MOST of those times I had been classed as one of the MOST DANGEROUS CRIMINALS in that jail (although my jailers LAUGHED at that -- they had their DUTY to obey -- LOL!!!).
So, I have to straighten out this "MED THING", today.
MORE local action against my Kenan Family (who control Exxon-Mobil):
And THIS is all I can THINK OF, today . . .
