Even back THEN, I was into SNAKES!!!
1. As you might expect, this began earlier -- during the past weekend -- when I chanced on an employee of First Presbyterian Church (aka: The Kenan Cathedral), on the street. Approaching "them" (used to disguise gender), I said, "Well, you sure have to have a sense of HUMOR -- I sent Barack Obama the BEST LETTER, which he will NOT be able to resist. Resist OUTING the Clintons as STEALTH REPUBLICANS and in the POCKETS of the Kenan Family!!!"
They just smiled and bobbed their head, so I continued, "And First Prez has the BEST stained glass windows -- and TWO great pipe organs, although my Kenan Family only paid for one. Will be a GREAT cultural arts center and performance space once the TRAITORS are evicted!!!"
They slapped their knee, nodding agreement.
"But truth-be-told, ONLY the ministers and elected officials there are CONSCIOUSLY GUILTY (District Attorney Ben David, County Commission Head Beth Dawson, and Judges Lindsey Luther and Jeffrey Noecker -- two from each Political Party), the rest PROVE what Jesus said: 'Father, forgive them -- they know NOT what they do!!!'"

I passed Jennifer McCracken going to class on the CFCC campus (Cape Fear Community College -- WHOOooo -- LOL!!!).
As readers will recall, the residents of the Narco-Trafficking "Gay House" on Fifth Street in 2010-12, Now-Democratic Party Third Vice Chair Ryan Lee Burris, with THEN James Elks, and John Mann, had ALL in those years, been part-time students there (two classes or so each, only), to not APPEAR to be in the Drug Business -- although they had NO OTHER known-means of financial support.

So then next, TODAY, I ran into a tour of about 25 people, most over retirement age -- on the northeast corner of Dock and Third Streets. The guide was pointing at the house my friend Stanley Winborne III of Puerto Vallarta "grew up in" (actually, it was his grandparents' house):

Anyway, the guide was saying something about John C. Calhoun's body lying at rest in the basement of Stanley's family's house -- but it was not built yet, then, so maybe the house that had stood there. Researching I found:
When John C. Calhoun died in Washington on March 31, 1850,
the citizens of Wilmington were greatly stirred as that statesman
was regarded as the greatest defender of the Constitution and the
republic. The funeral party left Richmond April 23rd and passed
through Petersburg on the way to Wilmington. On April 24th, 1850,
the remains of Calhoun passed through this city on the way to
his final resting place in Charleston.
"The remains of the noble statesman left Washington on April 22,
from the eastern front of the capitol building for the wharf on
the Potomac where the steamer "Baltimore" was awaiting the
procession. The body was escorted to South Carolina by the
two sons of the deceased, the committee from Charleston,
the Senate escort composed of Senators James M. Mason
of Virginia; D.S. Dickinson of New York; J.H. Clark of
Rhode Island; Jefferson Davis of Mississippi; A.C. Dodge
of Iowa; John Berrien of Georgia; and others of distinction.
The steamer shrouded in mourning bore the funeral party
down the Potomac by Alexandria where flags on public
buildings were flying a half-mast, and on by "Mount Vernon"
to Acqui Creek landing where a special train was waiting to
take the procession through Fredericksburg and on to Richmond.
The funeral party left Richmond the next morning and passed
through Petersburg on the way to Wilmington, North Carolina,
to board the waiting steamer "Nina," which was to take them
to Charleston, South Carolina.
Wilmington sent a committee of prominent citizens to meet
the funeral train and escort the procession through the city.
Businessmen were requested to close their stores,
suspend all operations of business and to meet at the depot at
twelve o'clock.
There the procession was formed under the direction of the
Chief Marshal and served as an escort for the funeral party to
the foot of Market Street where the vessel for Charleston was
anchored. Twenty men from Wilmington and the officials of the
Wilmington and [Weldon] Railroad accompanied the party to
Charleston. Throughout the line of travel conveyances were
provided without charge; all who composed the escort
were always received as guests; free passage for the
whole party was tendered by the Wilmington and
[Weldon] Railroad and also the Steamship Company."

And when I told the guide that I am a KENAN, she was DELIGHTED -- and said she'd just TOLD THEM about the 1898 Wilmington Insurrection (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilmington_insurrection_of_1898), which I ACKNOWLEDGED that my Kenan Family with First Presbyterian (primarily) had caused, and then after discussing that I am actually a BUCKEYE but have been coming here my entire life and live here now, worked for Tennessee Williams, and knew the Kennedys, Reagans, Sinatras, etc., but was EXCITED to share with them all the gist of my Letter to President Obama (http://theweathercontinues.blogspot.com/2016/03/email-just-sent-to-president-barack.html) -- and his POSITIVE response that he will OUT the Clintons as TOP CRIMINALS, stealth REPUBLICANS, racists and narco-traffickers in the POCKETS of the Bush/Cheneys and my Kenan Family.
They all gave up a CHEER -- and a couple from New York SHOOK MY HAND - LOL!!!

5. I hurried home and called my MOTHER, to tell her that EVERYTHING is going my way (call me "Frank Sinatra"!!!), and that I think I know how to get fellow Buckeye John Kasich to be the one to go up against Bernie Sanders in the fall.
Kasich is their ONLY HOPE!!!
But I just have to write to Reince Priebus -- which I hope to accomplish and post, this afternoon.
