3. They are NOT involved in day-to-day decisions of how Exxon-Mobil. Chevron, Bank of America, Coca-Cola, or even Kenan Advantage Group, arguably the world's largest trucking company, but operating under the logos of ALL the many firms they bought, so no one sees it is all KENAN, operate.
4. I am HAPPY people who work hard (including pulling their connections), can achieve what my distant relatives have achieved -- but it's gotten a little OUT OF CONTROL. But this incredible historic property has been maintained at the highest levels of up-keep and service -- as if this were still "The Guilded Age", which it is for some, but what an incredible experience it must be to involve oneself in all the beauties of their art collections, and the history of it all -- enhanced by the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum, http://www.flaglermuseum.us/, across the street -- which because of the generosity of the Kenan and Flagler Families, has VERY LOW admission prices -- and is VERY INVOLVED in historical research!!!

4. Regardless anything else, the Kenans and Other Oligarchs did NOT "steal" anything we ALL didn't let them steal -- and if THEY didn't steal it, someone ELSE WOULD HAVE -- because of what we ALL allowed our various Governments to do.
5. I am very much a Capitalist -- but also support REASONABLE stringent Governmental restraints on business, and a FAIR tax system -- taxes being what the RICH are not paying their fair share of now (and I don't want to hear about "nominal" tax rates when the law is RIDDLED WITH LOOPHOLES!!!).
6. I am completely against the idea of "redistribution of income" (the rich should keep what they have today), but for a leveled playing field in which the small business or individual has a FAIR CHANCE FOR SUCCESS -- and YES, that means far FEWER regulations -- but ones that serve Society's NEEDS, rather than lining the pockets of Lawyers, Oligarchs, and Politicians.

The returning Dame, a substantially-boned, brassy red-head (of an unnatural hue), has been reading this blog and didn't know if I tell the TRUTH -- or am a creative fictionist. I set her straight on THAT!!!
Someone brought up the Old Racist Theory that "anyone other than a black African" could have built The Great Zimbabwe. Several of us were SHOCKED to hear that he seemed to believe that.
I mentioned to Leader Colin that I was truly moved that he had sent out a review of John Lahr's Tennessee Williams bio in our meeting announcement -- and he replied that he got TWO replies from people wanting to BUY IT!!!
