Scott Kenan My list would have to include Tennessee Williams, of course, and the gay black writer and activist Randall Kenan .We would SHARE Gore Vidal, those at THE NEW YORKER, and Dan Savage (who is quite distantly related to me -- unlike writer/gay activist Allan Gurganus, who is my 4th cousin. And while I took TWO classes from Alvear's close personal friend Hollis Gillespie, I learned little from her -- but got the PROOF she is totally connected to Christal Presley (no one, trying to be someone), but part of the Sean Hannity/Fox News Gang!!! At least Mr. Alvear ADMITS publicly to knowing Ms. Gillespie -- LOL!!! Few would do that . . .
