Hello,
At EducatorLabs, we live for the opportunity to educate others on a variety of
important topics. Today, I'm writing to share some fantastic resources related to
mental health around the holidays, since this time of year can be tough for those
suffering from mental health issues.
When you have a moment, review the resources below and, if you agree that
they would be helpful and useful additions to your site visitors
(maybe here: http://www.scottkenan.com/ links.php?), please include them:
Coping with the Holidays
http://psychcentral.com/ holidays/
Coping with Depression During the Holidays
http://www.gmhfonline.org/ gmhf/consumer/factsheets/ depression_holidays.html
The Guide to Overcoming Holiday Depression for the Elderly and their Caretakers
https://www.aclsonline.us/ articles/the-guide-to- overcoming-holiday-depression- for-the-elderly-and-their- caretakers/
Managing Holiday Stress
http://my.clevelandclinic.org/ health/healthy_living/hic_ Stress_Management_and_ Emotional_Health/hic_Managing_ Holiday_Stress
My goal is to influence 100 people to read these articles today and for 50 to
share them with others. Let me know if you’re on board! That said -- please
also let me know in an email response if you'd rather not hear from me in the future.
I understand and respect your wishes!
Happy holidays to you and yours,
Jasmine

Sean Blackwell, of http://www.bipolarorwakingup.com/, his wife Ligia Splendora, and me, goofing on a soft sculpture (con permisso!!!), in the lobby of a hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil, September 2009.
And of course that is where (actually in the colonial town of Paraty, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraty), that we met the ORIGINAL Jesus -- and the HOTTEST MAN ON EARTH, the latter of those is still my friend, even though he's married now with children -- HA!!!
And not only that, he's a native Uruguayan, living in Brasil where his band is now VERY popular at Freedom Festivals, etc., and is fluent in AT LEAST Spanish, Portuguese, and English. He was really the leader of all the fun that night -- his band improvising with a group of natives from the very depths of the Amazon forest, who had agreed to come out ONLY because these gentle souls wanted to preserve their language and culture.
The Thomas S. Kenan III Charitable Trust, among other things, is preserving languages and cultures in Latin America -- GO TOM!!!
But who cares about that -- for old times sake, let's see if I can find a better picture of Senor Jonathan Andreoli, https://www.facebook.com/jonathan.andreoli.5
WHOOOOPS!!! I meant this:
Hoy.
