Jackie when I knew her, 1982: -- and it is ALL ABOUT Jean Stein and George Plimpton's Party:

And Kathy Griffin owned the house NEXT DOOR to the one I tried to buy in Mismaloya Mexico in 2010, from Jamie Lee Sutherland (now of Ameriprise Financial in Chicago)!!!

Jamie's house on Avenida Ava Gardner, a NORTH CAROLINA actress!!!:

And YES, although Jamie FINALLY sold it for $500,000.00 USD about two years ago, this marketing video STILL INCLUDES my photo I gave Jamie permission to use. How cool is THAT??? It's the one with the palm fronds so you get perspective on Mismaloya Bay -- if you can call it that

It REALLY is a BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY -- and I had hoped to live in the main house, and rent out four bedrooms (actually ALL of it except my bedroom and private bath), for smallscholarly Conferences, including of Tennessee Williams Scholars.

So I INVITE YOU to view the above video, and imagine what YOU would do -- with such a place. (BLOW IT UP, when you watch it.)

Muchos Gracias, Scott

Career (Anderson Cooper, again):

During college, Cooper spent two summers as an intern at the Central Intelligence Agency

Although he has no formal journalistic education, he opted to pursue a career in journalism rather than stay with the agency after school,[13][14]  (JOKE, no???), having been a self-proclaimed "news junkie since [he] was in utero."[15]

After his first correspondence work in the early 1990s, he took a break from reporting and lived in Vietnam for a year, during which time he studied the Vietnamese language at the University of Hanoi.[16]

>>> CORRECTION: I originally posted that Jean Stein is related to Anderson Cooper of CNN, and idea I was given by some people I was in discussion with on Facebook, who pointed out that Anderson has interviewed Jean several times on his show. Here is info on her and a link to MORE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Stein

I apologize to all for my error!!! Scott

Early life[edit]

Stein was born to a Jewish family in Chicago.[1] Her father was Jules C. Stein (1896–1981), founder of the Music Corporation of America (MCA) and the Jules Stein Eye Institute at University of California, Los Angeles. Her mother, Doris J. Stein (1902–1984), established the Doris Jones Stein Foundation. Jean Stein's sister, Susan Shiva, died of breast cancer (1983), as did Doris Stein.[2]
Stein was educated at the Katharine Branson School in Ross, California, then at Brillantmont International School in LausanneSwitzerland, after which she graduated from Miss Hewitt's Classes in New York City. Thereafter, she spent two years at Wellesley College and then attended classes at the University of Paris (formerly known as the Sorbonne). While in Paris she interviewed William Faulkner, with whom she had an affair,[3] and, according to the historian Joel Williamson, offered the interview to the The Paris Review in exchange for being made an editor there.[4]

Stein returned to New York and worked in 1955 as assistant to director Elia Kazan on the original production of Tennessee Williams's Pulitzer Prize winning play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.[5]
Stein is the author of three books and a pioneer of the narrative form of oral history. Her final work was a cultural and political history of Los Angeles, West of Eden, published by Random House in February 2016. In 1970, Stein authored, with George Plimpton as editor, a biography of Robert F. Kennedy, titled American Journey: The Times of Robert Kennedy.
With Plimpton, Stein co-wrote the best-selling book Edie: American Girl, based on the life of socialite/actress and Andy Warhol muse Edie Sedgwick, in 1982.[6] Norman Mailer wrote of Edie: "This is the book of the Sixties that we have been waiting for."[citation needed]

Stein also worked as a magazine editor. In the late 1950s she was an editor, with Plimpton, at The Paris Review. From 1990 to 2004, she was editor of the literary/visual arts magazine Grand Street with art editor Walter Hopps. The magazine actively sought out international authors, visual artists, composers and scientists to bring to its readership.[citation needed]

It's the SAME person who DELIVERED all the BIG BUCKS from WALL STREET to Bill and Hillary Clinton -- and BARACK OBAMA -- is CLOSE FRIEND and BUSINESS ALLY with EL CHAPO GUZMAN:

And TWO sons of El Chapo held me HOSTAGE in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in "Toro's" house on Calle Costa Rico, for SIX WEEKS in 2010 (and I got them to spill a LOT OF SECRETS)!!!

I had to CANCEL my late afternoon appointment with my lawyer (Time Warner Cable truck hitting me 2/3/2017 DAMAGES Case), today, I'm so DISTRAUGHT (but "Miss Lucy" downstairs has likely got some pot to settle me down, next -- or my landlady ALWAYS does!!!).
