Prince Hubertus of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, better known as pop singer "Andy Himalaya", and "Royal Disaster", was born 2 February 1959 in Mexico City, but lives primarily, now, in Liechtenstein (a country that is the size of the average native Mexicano), where he is also a citizen.
He is the ONLY Mexican competing in the Sochi Winter Olympics -- hardly a first for him.
I'll not elaborate on Prince Hubertus, but encourage readers to watch CNN, where he has given several fun interviews -- this morning, Don Lemon, thinking the segment had already ended, leaned over to Chris-the-Cuomo and said, "We need to hire him." Well SOMEONE certainly needs to -- Hubertus is TOTALLY media friendly -- and a PERFECT representative of melting-pot Mexico (really)!!!

I first met Kandy, as she goes commonly, at the same writers group in 2010, and she promptly hired me to clean up the crap programs on her computer that slowed it -- only on arrival, did I learn she was running Windows 95 (in 2010), and it took a full THIRTY minutes to load or shut down.
So it took TONS of time to do ANYTHING, but the two of us had a lot of fun swimming in her fourth-floor pool, having lunch served in a sort of arboretum on the roof, and simply exploring the house, named Tara Sur (South) -- shades of transplanted Dixie. There is a long front-to-back alligator pool on the main floor, ancient vines twining throughout, and her mother, the famous artist and Puerto Vallarta character Silver, lay bed-ridden upstairs.
The whole place needed SERIOUS renovation -- which it has gotten, or was in process of, when I returned to Puerto Vallarta nearly two years ago, including the elevator that scales the front of the place. Silver, unfortunately, has passed on, leaving Kandy and her son Alex to live there.

But Kandy was a bit of a sensation in New York City in her day -- either with Andy Warhol, who gave Jane Smith, Maria St. Just (nee Britneva), and Maria's daughter (Pulcharia or Natasha was there as well, as I recall), and me a tour of both Warhol's OLD and NEW studios, known as THE FACTORY, the day of the Memorial for Tennessee Williams a month after his death and on his birthday in 1983. Kandace Andriadis read (or actually performed/read), at writers group this morning, covering some of her young adulthood in LONDON (and in the 1980s -- NOT earlier), especially, where she was a close friend of and mentored by Liza Minelli. I asked specifically if she knew Warhol or Sedgewick and she said no, but of course knew a lot about them. Although I mentioned later, privately, that I had honored her mother, Silver, she still had NO INTEREST AT ALL to read this blog post -- nor had she received my email of it, thanks to the NSA/CIA. Most of my friends on my email list NEVER receive my emails NOR do they show up as automatically sent to Trash or Spam mailboxes -- the CIA just DOES NOT LET MY EMAILS THROUGH!!!
Also of possible interest, is that her ex-husband, Otto Andriatis (whom I met and found quite interesting), has very recently moved BACK to PV(after what HE described as a 40-year separation, although he doesn't look old enough for this to be true -- if he was married to Kandace here), although I do not know if he lives in Kandace's "Tara Sur" or not. He's working on a novel and will read a portion next week.
Tennessee and I DID have some fun together (as well as some difficulties!!!)
